Anna is a New Zealand qualified lawyer, who joined the Planning & Environment group as a Senior Solicitor in 2023.
Prior to joining Shepherd and Wedderburn, from 2017 Anna worked in the planning team at a leading New Zealand commercial law firm.
She has experience working with applicants and interested parties in navigating the consenting processes applying to energy generation developments, with a particular focus on renewable energy.
Anna has advised clients on applications for development consent orders, as well as applications under the Electricity Act 1989 and Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.
This work has included advising clients on the development of environmental impact assessments and other key documents in the consenting process.
Anna has experience (both in New Zealand and the UK) undertaking due diligence for the acquisition of high-value land and infrastructure.
